Thumbs up Possible short life Battery Fix

I like many had a short draining battery on my Storm. I reduced brightness etc. but was still having battery issues.

I thought if i let the battery drain completely until it died and recharged it without interruption maybe the battery would reset itself.

Well it seems to have worked!! I am getting much better battery life now.

    Hopefully it works for you.

that tactic is a good call. I've done that, and it certainly helps.

Still doesnt seem to be working at top performance levels though

Ok use the phone until the battery completely drains. Then recharge and not bother it. Then it will be better.

This is normal for Li-ion batteries. They will reach peak capacity after several recharge/discharge cycles.

what completely solved my battery issues was changing the network settings to evdo only, searching for other networks drained my battery in 14 hours why the global mode is default is insane to me.
