One in every crowd :-)...any other suggestions. Is there a way to lock the screen so that it won't answer just by an accidental button press? Or to use the hard talk button only to answer?

Does it have a standby button?

Yes... There is an app that puts your phone on standby if you can't do it yourself. StormLock or Autostandby.... both are in the appworld... http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/

Well, I call the button on the top left a standby button. If that's what you mean then yes. The problem is that when the phone rings, if I touch the screen it either answers or disconnects depending on where I touch it.

Oops. I forgot. Touchscreen only. Well there's nothing I can think of other than changing your pocket pulling technique.

Either change your removal procedure or where a holster. I have a nice little leather one that I can clip to my belt. The way I do it tho, is I clip it on the inside of my pocket, where the clip is on the outside and the phone on the inside.
