Any time frame for non-BES people, or is this update irrelevant for them?

It shouldn't be long. It's the same OS for both BES and BIS users, just different .cod modules are used.

Can you tell us what this update includes, what fixes are in it? Thanks.

So, something just appeared on my blackberry desktop manager, and it's installed. Didn't change my OS version number at all though. It seems a bit less laggy, especially when changing screens (it actually fades!), and scrolling seems snappier too, but that may just be due to the reboot, since I haven't rebooted in a while.

You can go to Options>About and it will show you what SW you are using. The newest is 4.7.0.107(Applications Version 4.7.0.75).

I just ran Desktop Manager and it said there was an update for 4.7.
I'll report back if there is any change in the OS version after DM is complete.
Also, I wasn't aware you could put your email into DM and it will notify you when updates are available.

No this update is for BES users only and your Network Admin must allow you to receive the update. It's not really "in the wild".

This is an official release that was pushed towards BES platforms. It was leaked on the net of course. It is an official update.
