    Neverending cycle of rebooting....???

    So this afternoon, out of the blue, my Storm gave me an app error (don't remember which one). I pulled the battery, waited, then put it back in. That didn't work. Now, whenever I leave the battery in my Storm, it will continuously reboot until I pull the battery.

    I'm running .99 and have been for weeks without issue. The only apps I run regularily are facebook and MySpace. I also use the memory cleaner on a daily basis, as well as clean my message folder once a week.

    What can I do?

    you will most likely need to use jlcmder to wipe your device and download an operating system to reinstall onto it...

    the way to do this is to connect your storm via usb, but without the battery in it... use jl_cmder for the wipe and then once youve wiped, it wont simultaneously reboot... so put the battery back in and follow the regular steps for installing an OS...

    Where do I find this application to wipe my Storm? What's making me more upset is I can't find my dang USB cable to hook it up to my computer...argh!!!

    Verizon should replace my device if I take it to them, right? They won't know I was running .99 when I bring it in...

    If you have a warranty they'll prolly replace it... They won't know till it actually turns on...

    Well all I have is the 1-year warranty that comes with all phones. Obviously it's not past a year old.

    i had the same issue, VZ replaced my storm and still continued to have issues. I finally installed the beta "unofficial .109 version and my phone has not rebooted in 2 weeks. Still waiting on VZ to release the official update. But to me the interim was well worth it.

    Verizon is overnighting a new Storm to me. I had no issues at the store.

    i had the same prob...it was my memory card...if ya got one in try taking that out
