    My Storm is LOUD

Could be that the songs you are listening to were encoded at a lower volume possibly.

Someone might have a hearing problem perhaps? The one I demo'd at the retail store seemed to be very loud but of course volume is such a subjective word.

The headphones I got with mine sound OK, but I have trouble keeping them in my ears so I use some of my other ear phones and they sound good and loud.

There is a sound boost program, where you can change the db output on I forget what, but I think that's just for your mp3's, and I don't know if it'll work on the storm. I'm pretty sure it won't actually.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Overall, the sound is good. Speaker is excellent but the handset mode could use a few more clicks of volume. I had a noise cancelling headset competing with two jet engines on my flight last week and the engines put a serious damper on my sounds.
