Beyond is working for me, what's the problem

I guess I should clarify a little more. It did install, but it is not very touch screen friendly, and doesn't flip to landscape mode. I was more hoping it would get updated.

Handango wont download BB Alerts because it is a Storm. Which device should I click on to let in download to my storm??

Not working:

Blackberry Alerts - this is a software I purchased from Handango a while back and it lets you assign different color LED alerts for SMS/calls etc and also audible reminder alert for missed SMS/calls etc. This was my favorite BB app!

BB Smart View email viewer. Worked for a day and now it's not working. When I open an email, the dialogue box with BBsmart comes up and the cancel button just sits there and I have to click it and can only view the email in regular view.

Vlingo - Not able to set up left convenienc key

Does BB Maps work on the Storm (only Google Maps came pre-loaded)? And is there any map application that works with voice input (like Vlingo did on my Pearl)?

bb maps is preloaded and works with gps. google maps is not preloaded and sadly doesnt work with gps (uses triangulation) and verizon will not let gps work with google maps. vzw calls it a "security issue". stupid words for "we want you to pay for vz navigator, which we know is s**t and google maps is far superior."

i dont know of any voice controlled map apps.

That's what confuses me. The pre-loaded app on my Storm is Google maps, not BB Maps.

Catstide, is Google maps NOT pre-loaded? Maybe it got installed when I switched things over from my Pearl? But in any event, there was no BB Maps app pre-loaded.

exactly, google maps is not pre-loaded... have you tried hooking it up to DM and clicking app loader, add remove apps and making sure the "BB Maps" is checked?

BB Maps was checked on app loader, but does not appear on the phone (and it's not hidden). So I'll "delete" it and re-load it and see what happens. Thanks guys.

And does Butterfly2 or anyone else have Vlingo working?

App loader says it loaded BB Maps, but it's not on the phone. Not hidden. Starting a new thread for this one.
