    Question Like your storm?

Well, I have the 8330 with Verizon and i really wanted the BOLD. So i went get one on my buddies family plan knowing that i have 30 days return. Ive had it since last week and the only thing i don't like is that the network always changes from 3G to EDGE with slows the data down ALOT especially when im using it to tether which is every weekend. I loaded the same web pages on my Verizon Curve and the BOLD on ATT at the same time and my curve is alot faster. I don't really want to keep the BOLD if the network will suck. We are supposed to have full 3G in my area so I'm thinking about staying with VERIZON and taking the BOLD back. Im considering going get a storm but there are so many mixed reviews im not sure. Just wondering what everyone thinks about theirs, I may go play with one at the store and see again.

I like my phone, but I must have been lucky when I received my phone back in November because I haven't had any problems with it (I ordered it online the day they were released and that was with OS version .65. Since then, I have upgraded to .75 using the official download). There are leaked OS versions out now, but from what I understand we should be seeing an official release that I HOPE will fix any other issues that these phones are experiencing.

I have had the same device since the day it launched in November. I have had both ups and downs with the Storm, mostly regarding sluggish Operating System builds (both official and leaked betas).

The latest leaked OS that I installed yesterday (4.7.0.99) is actually the most stable OS I have used yet to date. Each time a leaked OS is released, many people say it's the OS the device should have shipped with. I am just happy somebody is leaking these betas as the device just gets better and better with each OS build that finds it way to the internet.

I love my Storm running v4.7.0.99

Although there is a learning on this phone, you will love it once you get used to the clickscreen keyboard. Also, there are still bugs on the phone but with each leaked os released, my phone has gotten better and better. Verizon has the most reliable network too so that was important to me.

You might want to double check on the 30 trial. They changed their policy, and it already took effect here. You now have 3 days to return the phone, and even if you return it within the 3 days, there is a $30 restocking fee.

Yea you can I already did it with the iphone. You have 30 days to cancel and if you return the phone you pay 20 restocking fee and after 3 days you pay activation. Should have never tried in the first place but I'm hard headed.

Out of all the BB I have owned this one is definitely the most amazing. It still freezes once and a while but it is getting better and better with every update. I am however disappointed that there are no themes and the apps are limited.... hopefully soon

I'm thinking about getting the storm when they have a 3G version come out. As far as your BOLD goes its a shame you feel that way. Your going to upgrade your OS as soon as you get it with thew storm to get rid of some of the bugs with it. Why didn't you try that with your Bold? Anyway, I've played around with a Storm at Verizon and as soon as they have a 3G version I will own one. Just FYI, my Bold on 3G spanks any verizion phone. ~via smartphone~

Starting to Love it from a Curve,Bold owner

Had a curve for 16 months then purchased a Bold from AT&T and had to return it due to our company making me go back to verizon. So I purchased the Storm and you know something. I am loving it more and more each day. I am running 4.7.0.99 and this phone has no problems. My son purchased on last month and loves it also with very little problems he is running .85. I loved the Bold it is the best blackberry to date but I was having failed calls all the time. I mean all the time, for our business that is not good. I have learn very quickly how to type with the touch/click device and found it very fast. THere are a few programs which will make your switch much more pleasent. One is quicklaunch the other facecall.
