    Leaving my storm

I have a BB storm with telus now.. im starting to hate it hehe..

I'm thinking going back to a "normal" BB... but i'm hesitating between a 8830 and a 8330... any suggestion? (except that 8830 is world..)

Will a 16gb microsd will fit in both?
I know 8330 is smaller than 8830, and 8330 have a camera and not the other..

    but, any other point?

They will both support the 16 gb memory card as long as you have 4.5.0.81 or above installed. The advantage to the Curve over the 8830 is the camera. Anything else would be more user preference. I am sure some 8830 users will chime in along with other 8330 users.~via smartphone~

Go with the 8330! 8830 is really big plus doesnt have a camera. the Curve is hot ! I just bought a storm yesterday and returned it today... LOL
This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

IMHO unless you do a lot of world travel the best phone to go with is the 8330 curve...I also went from the 8330 to the storm for 25 days then back to my trusty curve..lol
My biggest problem with the storm was losing the physical keyboard and ability to make a call directly from the home screen

But yeah main difference is also the keyboard where keys are spaced out on the curve and together on the 8830
Go into a store and get a feel of both devices.

I answered this same question about those same 3 phones on a different forum.

As modern says, it's really user preference. If you're looking to carry a lot of media with you, I would suggest the 8330 with the proper OS to hold the 16 GB card. The 8330 does have a camera.

I have never used the 83xx or 88xx series (I ALMOST upgraded from an 8100 to an 8820 last year but chose the 8120). But what I would suggest is that you test both phones in store to see which one you prefer typing on, holding, and carrying.

I would still reccomend the 8330 over the 8830 unless you will be traveling over seas.

I would agree, if you are leaving your storm(I don't blame you), then you would be happy with the curve with the wifi. You can acutally type on it and use wifi!!! bonus.'s's's'

Nope phone model numbers ending in xx20 are the models that have wifi capability. The sprint 8350i does have wireless, but I think it is strictly for websurfing at the moment. ~via smartphone~
