Is it the actual screen and not the factory installed screen protector?

Not sure as I'm not looking at your phone, but they come from the factory with a screen protector installed. It's hard to see but it's there. It's very ineffective against scratching but it does protect the main screen. Get it under a bright light and you'll see it.

good question GG. the screen is quite durable. i have had mine since november 21st and it doesn't have a single blemish on it. the battery life is also good on the later beta os versions. which os are you running?

Some people in their excitement didn't know there was a film cover on there already.

Now, with my el-cheapo screen protector from Verizon, I haven't had a scratch on it and my phone has been in my purse and my pocket and it's still scratch free...I'm surprised by that because the protector from Verizon for my old Dare scratched super easily (with a fingernail mind you).

About the battery life though... Most have noted a substantial increase in performance and battery life by upgrading their OS to one of the latest available...

.103 has been know to be stable, and .109 is also available...

    Take care...
