I think the real question is, "What are you trying to accomplish?"

You an do a complete wipe with JL_Cmder. It will remove everything including the operating system. For links to the DownLoad and instructions click on My Blog (below)

And yes, after the wipe you can use Desktop Manager to install a new OS. Links to the newest OS for your device and install instructions are also in My Blog.

Sbank - I want to wipe my phone all together and reinstall .90. I am reading people who have wiped their phones then reinstalled .90 and experiencing MUCH better results with .90.

GaryF- Thank you for the info, much appreciated.

Gary - Just for clarifications cuz Im just a lil nervous about doing this tonight ha. After I wipe my device, I can open Desktop Manager and plug my phone in (which is wiped with no OS) and desktop manager will pick it up and it will just be like im updating my OS?

Can you back up all your contacts and messages and everything you already have on your phone... apps included.. and then just restore them after the complete wipe?

-EDIT- Don't know why I asked the first part, I guess I was more curious about backing up Apps and reinstalling them to the phone even if you can't get them OTA anymore (if thats how you got them)
I already know you could do addys and calendar and stuff heh.

Yes, if you have the device operating system properly installed on your PC. Although it is not required, it is not uncommon to perform a java wipe prior to loading a new operating system.
