I would think it would be hit or miss. I thought I saw a post recently about a dropped storm.

There was a video of a guy that dropped it from his truck onto the blacktop - think it was on youtube. It survived the fall - screen popped out, but he popped it back in,and it worked fine....hmmm

i have dropped my storm a couple times. Nothing really too major tho. Couple feet. The first time I dropped it off a counter and it hit the tile floor. YIKES. i was worried but the chasis seemed to hold up ok. Just a little ding on the chrome and I do mean little it took me a few minutes of investigation to see the damage. Now I got the BSE on my storm.

I screamed out loud the few times I dropped my old Pearl. My Storm's got the hard plastic cover and the holster...my vocal chords and not embarrassing myself in public are still intact (for now)

Some girl knocked mine out of my hand at a bar. It hit the bartop and then the ground and not a single scratch, scuff or flaw. Now the beating i gave to her didn't end as well....

Dropped mine, handed mine to drunks and Klutzes.... No harm no foul.... This is a very sturdy and viable warhorse. Actually its quite impressive.

    Drop my baby, never.
It has a BSE and a silicone case over that and lives in a pouch on my hip. Not a bb pouch as not happy with the clip on them, had one break before.

LMFAO I dropped mines one time and one time only when I first got it but that was on to carpet so not a problem.
