The GPS seems to be working good on my phone or maybe I am just in a good area right now for my cell towers. But the GPS is only working for my location, not directions anyone else tried?

    Hmm...

I updated google maps and checked my location. It still shows me within 5000 m of my supposed location; directions work.

BB maps wasn't even close to where I'm at right now and usually it's almost right.

What am I doing wrong? I downloaded google maps, allowed all the permissions, set GPS services for Location On, rebooted and it keeps saying it's waiting for the gps. I've never used this before. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Make sure you are able to get a gps signal where you are. I know at my office both garmin and google maps cannot acquire gps signal, but as soon as I am outside it is fine.

make sure its v3.0.2... and make sure you are in a open area, it works indoors but takes much longer to get the signal - I waited probably 3-4 minutes in my house until it got the GPS, but after it worked smoothly, in my car it took probably 30 seconds and had the direction I was going etc!
