Full screen view (real full screen)
Hi storm users,
First of all I just wanna say congratulations on your new phone
. My questions is this. When you go to youtube, does the storm actually play the video (full scren) or does it reduce the view of it to like the middle of it? I know it sometimes depends on the video but that's just a question I've been wondering about all this time. Also, has any of you tried any divx format videos on it yet? does it look descent or pixelated? does it lag? not OS wise; I know it does but I mean the video itself. Thanks for replying guys. Once again, congratulations!!!

I was wondering the same thing. I've played with the storm a bit and forgot to check..... but apparently the answer is YES!!!!
This youtube video confirms...

That demo video that comes with it is just amazing and really brings out the brilliance of that screen.

Does anyone no of any video editing software that lets you format screen sizes for mp4 and 3gp? Thats one thing that I just discovered recently is that the Verizon and Sprint Blackberrys cannot play compressed avi files which is what I have been using on my att phone.

I don't know of a video editor, but there's www.dvdvideosoft.com that has a slew of free converters developed for iphone, 3gp and avi. It does allow you to trim videos and what not. There's even a youtube to 3gp, mp4 converter and what not. What else I like about it, they are all integrated in one central interface. Nice! I plan to use this as soon as I get my Storm in Feb.

I'm using total video converter right now. I don't know whether or not there is an option for adjusting screen size for mp4 or 3gp on there but I haven't really sat down long enough to play around with it to adjust screen sizes.
