I betcha deleting the vendor.xml file does it. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I've had that problem a couple of times with 4.7.

I don't understand how that directory isn't there either.

The only folder in my research in motion folder is a blackberry folder, which doesn't contain a appsloader folder.

Are you going into just Program Files, or Program Files/Common Files?

That's exactly what you're doing, random. You're in the wrong place.

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader

You have to go one more level deep.

    Good catch, Moto.

I was not going into common files folder. I found the app loader and successfully re-installed .75. After going from .90 back to .75, it really is a lot slower, but i didnt like the bugs that came with it. thanks for all of your help.

Wow, I thought you had already gotten 75 reinstalled and were just trying to get BBM installed again.

Were you able to get BBM working again?

Glad you got the older OS loaded, random.

As Moto asked, did you get your BBM back?

yes I have my bbm back. I figured out what i did wrong. when i loaded the .90 os on my phone i didnt realize that i had to check all of the applications i wanted to load. so essentially i loaded a bare bones .90, nothing on it but the core ****. when i loaded .75 back, using the loader in the COMMON FILES FOLDER !!!!!! it also did not have any of the applications checked off. i had to go down the list and check EVERYTHING, so now everything is loaded and im running slow *** .75.

Well now you know! Never assume anything and double check everything prior to an OS install/upgrade.

Oh, and make sure you're looking for things in the right place!

You didn't install EVERYTHING did you? If you uninstall things like extra languages, and apps you know you won't use, it'll free up memory and make the BB faster.
