I have the re-director installed to push my outlook emails but I get every email twice and then I get some network email from RIM as well? I know the network email should stay in my Outlook outbox but why am I getting this email on my storm as well?

    Thanks

Lets start with asking why you are using redirector? If you have a BIS account with your carrier that should not be necessary and it is a bit cumbersome. Also can you provide any details about the email account your are accessing?

Wow I thought that was the only way for me to receive pushed email from my outlook email account. Hmmm, details about account: it is a pop3 account provided by a webhost. whoever@company.com type thing.

    Thanks

Use the BIS or get a hosted BES, should your needs require it.

Ok, sorry...don't understand use the BIS. I thought the re-director was the solution for BIS. Please explain how to set up BIS.

    Thanks again.

    radar,

First of all we want to change the desktop manager installation from redirector to Blackberry Internet Service. Do that using control panel / add-remove programs, change.

Now who is your carrier? I can link you to the BIS page where you can set up your emails to push to your device. This will be much cleaner and quicker! An alternative is to use the email / set up wizard on your device to set up your account, however once you have done that it is a little bit tricky to use the BIS web page later....

    My carrier is Verizon.

So you want me to uninstall redirector from my desktop pc correct?
Just so you know I have already created the the email account in question on my storm.

You can simply change the desktop manager set up from Redirector to BIS / Blackberry Internet Service. That will probably solve your problems.
