    Email Outlook and Blackberry

I use Outlook for my email and with in my Inbox I have sub folders that certain accounts emails go directly into. I have no problem seeing my general inbox on my blackberry, but i can't see any of my "sub folders" on my blackberrry. Does anyone know how to fix/set-up my blackberry so that it will see those sub folders?

Are you on BIS? BIS does not support folders in Messages, however you should be receiving the emails on your device (are you?). I do believe there are 3rd party apps that will do what you want. I will look around and post back...

Are you in BES or BIS?
What type of email account are you using?
By any chance are you using Blackberry Redirector on your desktop?

BIS emails are "pushed" directly from your server to your device. There is no wireless communication between your PC / Outlook and your BB unless you are using redirector, so your Outlook folder settings should have no impact on your BB email delivery.

Ok then on BES as I understand it you should have those folders on your BB. I am not a BES guy, however I will get one of our BES experts to look in on this thread and give you some direction on what might help.
    Make sure you check back.

To have the subfolders show up on your Device, all subfolders have to be a subfolder of Inbox itself. So take all your existing folders, and drag them onto Inbox. Does that make sense?

You must do this in Outlook.

Yep, you need to do it in Outlook, then they will all sync with your BB. Keep in mind that you won't have all the email in your folders on your BB, but it will sync everything from here on out.

Thanks for the PM Gary, I wouldn't have seen the thread for awhile as I was busy at work.

Is there anyway to sync your outlook work email without a BES which they don't have?
The way i have it now is all my email just gets forwarded to my BB email address. Just have to delete it on my outlook also, kinda sucks that way. wish it would sync like hotmail etc.

    armen,

Do you have access to your work e-mail through OWA (Outlook Web Access)? If so, you can set an account up for your work e-mail in your BIS account.
