.141 has been working great for me and in my book that is all that matters.

Straight up or Hybrid? And I assume you have to go through the AT&T service books manual load each time you load a new OS?

I think its because they are holding out for an eventual release of OS 5.0.. since i heard that RIM will not longer be releasing OS 4.7 versions because they want to focus all their attention on the OS 5.0 rollout..

They should focus on getting the **** OS right the 1st time!
RIM's getting worse than M-Soft in that area.
Don't they know how their own phone works in the 1st place?

For sure SVT, the more people I see with a storm and ask "how do you like it" the answer is just about always the same. I like the phone BUT it slow, freezes, so on so on. I purchased a storm yesterday for a $125(locked to Verizon) because of this. She had gotten so frustrated with the phone she decided to go to something else. Although I didn't ask what she got I can only assume that it was not a BB. First impressions are EVERYTHING.

I cheated...my first impression was to load .122 then .141 right away!

VZW is danged if it does, and danged if it doesn't.

If the 1st OS .75 sucks, and the .141 doesn't pass VZW, what do we expect VZW to do?

I would recommend, to VZW, quit buying RIM phones until RIM gets their Head out of their A's, hire REAL programmers, and get with the business of putting out a product when it's ready

If they get the new apple RIM may wake up then. Google is coming on strong an RIMs still dealing with OS issues?? I love my berries and hate the iphone but if they get the email right then I may jump ship. No one is trying to reinvent the wheel here but trying to become the most efficient and user friendly.
