    Question BlackBerry Messenger Problem

Since I downloaded the new OS I have been having problems with BlackBerry Messenger. I can add some contacts but others I cannot. I have tried sending my pin to the contact and also had them send me a request, but neither of us get the request to be added. This contact use to be in my BlackBerry Messenger list before I updated the OS.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I thought about deleting BlackBerry Messenger and reinstalling it. Anybody know where I can get it and which version I need? I think I need 4.7.0.

    Thanks.

    1-options/advanced options/ host routing table/ menu button/ register now.
    2-email set up/menu button/service books/ send service books.
Pull battery for 30 seconds. Then see if it works. That should do it.

Also, make sure all permissions are set to allow too.
options/advanced options/applications/highlight blackberry messenger, menu button/ edit default permissions, set everything to allow if it isn't already.

Have you tried loading your contacts from a backup file. Also I thin you can get bbm on blackberry.com

Bbm should show on your list of applications on your DM. You can go to it and check to remove it, then click finsh. Once uninstalled, go back into DM applications and click to install it back. Finish and it should be back on your BB. At this point I would go to DM restore and restore from a backup that had your list of bbm contacts and add them back on your BB

Can I do this BBM restore without restoring other applications? I do not want to change my calendar or contacts, etc. I just want to specifically restore my BBM.
