    Big problem

Ok so I have a big problem. I use my phone on a regular basis as a media device mainly for music but I have this feeling that I have a major problem. You see any time I listen to music or watch a video on my phone I only get sound out of my left earphone. I have tried many different headphones and still the exact same problem
Any ideas of what is wrong and if it can be fixed if so how?

Well, I don't have a Storm, but if you tried it with several pairs of Headphones and get the same issue and your Storm does not have a "Balance" feature, than I would call customer service, explain and get a replacement, the Device is defective.

If you are on a 9530 I would say it's probably a defect and try your headset with a new one from Verizon. I'm sure you are still in your 30 days so you could just swap it out...

Just to verify, is this a plug-in style headset using the jack or is this a Bluetooth wireless headset?

If it's wireless, make sure the device is set to stereo in the Bluetooth device properties.

Yes, that's an easy step to overlook. Bluetooth properties are important for correct sound. If not, if you are using wired, then you do indeed have a bad unit and a replacement is in order.

I use my storm via bluetooth to connect to my stereo and no issues here.

Well, I am not using bluetooth, and it's weird because I plug it in and at first I can hear out of both headphones and then it only comes out of the left ear. If I go to a video and play it and unplug my headphones and then replug them I get sound out of both earphones, so I don't get it. I also pre ordered my phone at Best Buy so that could be a problem.
