Actually I spoke to my cousin who is a top guy @ att and the storm will be coming out mid febuary. You can also get them right know unlocked for about $500 but there is still a lot of glitches that is why I haven't picked one up yet.

I have not heard anything about this. Do you have a link to the rumor?

I don't think you people understand. The gsm band that the storm covers are NOT domestic bands. And how can you say there is a release time period for AT&T but not one for Verizon and we know it is definetley coming 2 vzw. You can buy an unlocked one all you want but wait its not even released anywhere yet so if its for sale already its a scam. Cmon people use your heads. Its not real. People that work for companies will say anything for you 2 stay with them. As I've said before and will say again. Ill believe it when I see it.

This statement is incorrect. Actually both the CDMA & GSM version of the Storm has quadband GSM. Which means they work in the US. Check blackberry.com and look at the specs, then look at what bands GSM uses in NA.

You know, as a T-Mobile customer this is really depressing. All the fuss is about Verizon & AT&T getting the Storm. When's a storm approaching T-Mo end users? I understand T-Mo is the youngest of the 3 companies. But they're also slacking. They need to step it up & deliver some of these quality phones. Just Pay RIM the right amount for they're version of the Storm with MyFaves
