I am no HATER but i do not like this phone. I tried one for like 10 days and then went back to my old phone. Maybe it's just me but the touch screen thing is just not for me. That being said this is 500 times better than the iProblem oops i mean iPhone.
my thumbs hurt.......
I am receiving my storm hopefully tomorrow or def wednesday. What OS will be on there? Everyone talks about .76 and.83 and i checked BB site and only .76 is up. Im assuming .83 is a leaked one. Has anyone had any problems with .83 even if its not officially released by BB yet?
The Storm 9530 is my first BlackBerry so I'm not sure if I like it or not as I have no experience to compare. I have the latest s/w (.75) and they will be replacing my unit this week as some of the features like locking in Multi-Tap just do not work correctly (I have no need for SureType). As I read through all the Applications, do they all work on the new Storm? What applications out there - all of you BlackBerry Users - have you found most useful? I would also like to find an application where I can answer email/text by Voice Commands - any suggestions? Thanx - JIM
Agreed .85 is the best build so far IMHO
Hey JAA613 go get vlingo for voice text
- first post by j llama, at the end, right before the Non working apps to get vlingo to work
Great info all around. Longtime BB user and Palm before that. When I heard there was going to be a touchscreen BB - awesome!
I had a brief hiccup on my hope for the Storm after reading many of the naysayers. Bit the bullet and ordered one (will be the 1st in my corporation to have one - on the bleeding technology edge ).
Was able to go down to Futureshop the other day and take one for a quick spin. It will take a little to get used but I am really looking forward to it.
Verizon Wireless Blackberry Storm 9530
I really like it, but I still have some issues with typing errors. I kind of feel like the Storm is the differently abled bb of the bb's out there. We'll got the job done, but it's going to take a little bit of extra time. My messages tend to be short and to the point. Ha ha!
