A new case for my Storm!

I don't know about you guys, but my problem was I had hard time liking just about every Storm case I've seen out there. No offense to the companies that make them...

Anyway, I went to a local Verizon store today and I found this case that I fell in love with instantly. Well, I ended up walking out with it. Of course I paid for it, in case you are wondering.

What I like about it is... it makes my Storm look like a Storm! I know that there are different choices, but this is a hard case which will protect my Storm in case I drop it. And my biggest gripe was knowing that where the hard buttons and camera slot are getting scratched up every time I get it in and out of my carrying pouch. There are a lot more to say about it, instead I took some pictures of my Storm with and without the case.

Well, now that I got my beloved new Storm fully protected, I don't feel guilty any more. And I know I am hooked on Blackberry phones... Anyone... am I the only crazy one here?

Funny, how I get like this only with Blackberry phones. I've had a Curve, Pearl, and trusty 8700. I never dropped any of those and I always had them in a case.
I paid almost twice as much for my Samsung i760 which is a great phone, but it just never dawned on me that I should have it in a case...

I dropped my 8703e, my 8830 (into the pacific ocean was one of the drops)...

but my storm, has not been dropped yet. I'm wearing the silcione sleeve and love it... gives it a good grip and doesnt slide off anything.

I had the clear hard case, but it made my phone so FAT!!! I tried one of the hard cases at the mall kiosk...but that thing didnt' come off for crap...trying to get it off I broke it...and now I have a silicon case from the mall...it's great! All my phones have had a case...always will!

Yeah I got the chrome one mainly because it simply looks better.
That's after trying the clear one first. I've always used clear ones for my Blackberry phones in the past.

It does make the phone look a little bulky, but I love the fact that it is well protected and looks good.

The camera slot area was getting scratches no matter how careful I am.
My work requires me to have a camera handy quite often and the Storm takes pretty good quality pictures. That's as long as I don't have any scratches covering the camera slot.

I just ended up fitting my Storm into my curve belt holster, fit like a glove and the magnetic proximity sensor works like a charm.
