    just upgraded to the latest OS, and the red led wont stop flashing. i dont have any unread msgs of any kind, or unresponded to notifications, but it wont stop flashing...

    whats up with that?

    This has happened to me. Try pulling the battery.

    ok, so we joked about this yesterday, but the phone is still doing this. multiple batt pulls, restarts, etc... and still flashing red. this is enough to drive me crazy at night with it lighting up the room... enough to downgrade back to what i had on it before...

    other thoughts, or things to try?

    ^^, what OS? .247.266. You might want to just trying a re-install. Its happend to me over the many OS installs where certain things didn't act right and a re install did the trick. I like to wipe the device first also.(Backup,backup,backup).

    So maybe I'm nowhere near as cool and dorky as I thought. I said that all notifications were off and my red led was going mad. Well, I forgot that the gmail app resets its options with each install. So I unchecked the gmail notifier and we're all good now. D'oh! Sorry folks...
