Go to the BlackBerry website and look up knowledgebase articles KB19641 Configuring a BlackBerry smartphone as a tethered modem on a Macintosh computer and KB18127-Configuring a BlackBerry smartphone as a Bluetooth IP Modem on a Macintosh computer

Ok I don't know if you know about a program that called tether. I had it since I was with my blackberry bold 9000. I was one of the beta tester (it was on beta for mac but they release the full version) and I got to tell you they have make it better with each update. You have to buy it for $50 I think that's the price(only one time payment). I have a blackberry bold 9700 and a macbook pro the new one and it works like a charm. Go to tether.com and find out more about it. Let me know if you get it or if this help you. And they also let you try it before you but it.

    Just go to blackberry website.

    Download the Desktop Manager 5.1
    and download the usb drivers
Should be an option for Mac users on both of these.

Download, call your service provider, have them add on Tethering
And after that, plug blackberry in your computer.
Open up Desktop Manager, click IP Modem, click Connect.

Make sure you have a network configured next to the Connect box once you click on IP Modem.

You can get the network stuff to type in the boxes from wireless provider.

    Hope this helped.

    How is that?
There isn't a way, because If I don't have the tethering package on my wireless provider account, I won't be able to tether.
And if there is a way, I would be charge alot of data charges!

All you have to have is a blackberry data plan unlimited. The software cost $50 one time fee. I have it I use it and there is no problem I use it on my macbook pro. For more info go to tether.com I have being with them since they were in beta for mac and now is out. Works on window too. Let me know if you check it out and see if that help you out.

    I did.
I am going to call my wireless provider today and find out If I will be charged any extra fees
if I use the tether.com way of using the internet from my blackberry

Because I pay $79.99 Monthly for Unlimited Blackberry talk, text and internet

And the 10$ is NOT included with my rate plan, its an extra feature added on.

If your with AT&T than you are good cause I have AT&T and I don't get any extra charges. I don't think that they suppose to know. Cause they think that you are useing your blackberry internet. I have being useing it for a while now and I have not got any charges or have they call me about this I never told them anything. But if you are see how it ends up for you and let me know what they tell you. Thanks. But this software saves you a lot of money.
