I was having problems getting a signal on my Bold. At&T sent me a new one. I went through the standard switch device and now can not send or receive email. Also there is no email set up icon that I can find to fix this problem.
Does the Setup Wizard come up for you, or did you skip it. I would try that and then look for the "Manage Internet E-mail" icon which should be under the Setup folder.
You will need to log in to your BIS site and update your PIN and ESN/MEID number. If you look under settings you will see "Change device" that's where you enter the new info
Yes using Switch Device" is only part of what is required. Switch device will move your data and settings to your new device but to move your Blackberry services you need to log onto your BIS site and update your PIN and IMEI. You can find this info in OPTIONS, STATUS. Then send your service books and you should be good to go!
