I subscribe to AT&T's tethering plan and use the AT&T connection manager to tether my blackberry.
What happens is that usually the connection works fine for ~10 minutes, but after a short period the connection cuts out (even though my blackberry still has signal), and I have to completely shut down the connection manage program and restart it in order to get connection back.
Once in awhile, it will even spontaneously restart my blackberry bold.
Anyone facing these issues? Any suggestions?
Honestly, ATT tech support is your best bet for this. Only they can determine if you have just a app problem or if your Bold has a defect.

how much are you paying for tethering?
Upgraded the BlackBerry Curve to BlackBerry Bold 12/1/08.
Way too much. Something like $20/ month. Good thing work pays for it.
