Question So what comes after the Bold

Do not get me wrong, I love my Bold, even tried the iPhone II for a few days (yuck), but am always longing for something newer.

I know with the economy RIM's introduction of new devices will be slower if not at a crawl. They have lost their corp sales and are working on consumer formats, but even that market is limited.

Guess the Bold will rule for a while at AT&T

I think I read a post here in the Stacks someplace that AT&T might be getting the Javelin. It's 2g, but it's nice.

BOLD is just great. We can use any phone on AT&T, just unlock it
    And god creates the BlackBerry.

Yes, I have an unlocked Javelin. Nice and sleek but slower in response when putting it thru it's paces.

My first blackberry was a curve 8300. I then got the bold, loved it. Then got a 8900. I liked it, but was a bit sluggish. I'm now waiting for my new unlock 9500 storm to come in tomorrow.

I'm wondering what you folks mean by "slow" and "sluggish" on you 8900.
I've been very pleased and haven't felt it is either.

I've seen side by sides. Not that much quicker. But to each his own.

Side by side comparisons deal with data speeds in the browser. Due to packet compression with bis, the data speeds are very similar with edge and 3g. If you stream anything or use google maps, you will notice a difference in data connection (not as much with google maps). The application switching and loading is a decent bit quicker on the bold, no comparison. The javelin is not slow by any means and I would have it if att offered it.

I'm pretty sure the Niagara is coming to Verizon first.
