How often do people have to clear their cache? It seems like I have to do it more often than I should. If I don't clear it, my browser is impossibly slow, if it loads pages at all. Any way to automate clearing it?

I clear my content cashe when it gets to about a meg or two,and the pushed cashe at about a quarter to half a meg.But I don't know of anyway to do it automatically. Now there is an app called log maid that might help in your situation. It clears your logs every so often and supose to help keep your memory freed up a bit.If you want to try it,I think you might find it here.

I hope I've help at least a little.

Well, Log Maid won't help with what I asked about (I don't think), but it will help another problem...so thanks for that!! :-)

When you said slow. You mean when opening it or when loading pages?

I only clean it because I have to. If I don't clean it pretty much every day, my browser won't retrieve web pages. It just stays on 'requesting' forever. Browser opens fine and quickly...it just won't load pages if the cache has more than around 1000k in it.

Sounds to me like you got other stuff running in the background. Are you using a highly animated theme or forgetting to close some apps down after use?You can check to see what's running by pressing alt and the back button and continue holding the alt button down as you scroll through the apps.

No, I think it must be a cache issue because as soon as I clear it, pages load beautifully. I check to see what's running fairly often and am careful to close things out after I'm finished using them.

I'm with you on that. But I don't get that 1000k limit.I've had somewhere up around 3-4 megs in my content cashe once or twice without it slowing my browser like that. The only time I've had a simular problem was when I had a highly animated theme I was using.Wierd.

Your phone picks up something from every site, page address you connect with, and you dont want to store that. Trash it!
