i have saved a file to my SD card- an IM program in zip form. But i have no idea how to get to it. I can only access pictures, music and videos on the card but i cant access any extra files- like the one i downloaded. is there a file manager somewhere i can access?

Are you sure it didn't save it to your applications. Also, it has to be un-zipped, but that's usually just for themes.

Bbfilescout. You can pick it up at jerryd's version tracker here on the stacks.

You can also move it over via DM and install it that way. May (I've had bad luck) be only way to install.

yea, because when i connect the SD card to my computer, i can see it hanging out by itself. not in a folder or anything. but then i put the card back in my bold, and i dont know how to get to it. there isnt a file manager or windows explorer type thing on Blackberrys?

To answer your other question, ther is a file explorer on your blackberry. Go to media, on the main media menu, hit the menu button and you'll see "explore". Won't allow you to open .zip files.

Bbfile scout will allow you to unzip the file but as mentioned, you'll most likely need DM to install.
