i would Vote Rogers, they have had Bold longer , more time to work out the bugs, the link i posted above is an older forum about people complaining about AT&T packing their phones with "fluff" as they called it, packing it with a lot of usless AT&T advertisments

Read this thread from Nikki.. He has done the comparison and he says that the ATT Bold wins out.

Though that is a fair assessment, its not a fair battle. i have been testing these OS's for some time now, and .168 has proven to have better battery life over .167
so what she says may be true, it also my fall down on the higher OS , not the provider it self.

    .
I have a Rogers Bold running on AT&T. On the 4th when AT&T begins selling the Bold I will buy one that day. The AT&T version will be the best as its optimized for their network. As well as having the latest firmware. Its a lot cheaper at just $299. The only reason I got one from Rogers is I had a last minute opportunity to get one at a discount through a contact of mine. It was not planned I just got lucky. Anyone that lives in the US will be better off with the AT&T model. Also contrary to rumor AT&T's extra software & services are easily removed in a minute or two if your slow. I've used AT&T & others for years, all carriers do it. People love to bash AT&T cause they are number one & have all the best phones. Jealousy reigns supreme.

ATT also restricted the bold so you cannot choose what network you want (3g or 2g). Also I am kind of disapointed that they dropped the colored number keys from keypad.

They use different firmware which increases battery life. Connectivity at the highest speed automatically. A great system. If you don't want 3G just get an 8900.

Can the Bold be taken apart to switch keypad like the curve can?
