RIM denies delays for its 3G BlackBerry Bold phone
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~reading that I now have a ? I thought att&t had an exclusive for the bold I was under the impression it was a 6mo exclusive but in the article it say will be available to multiple carriers? What's up with that
It indeed will be available for multiple carriers. RIM execs said it will be due out for all carriers by end of year. It has been written in several articles.
The AT&T exclusive is only for the U.S. and then probably just 6 months. That doesn't preclude Rogers in Canada and Vodafone etc. from releasing.
They more than likely had a time frame of a certain amount of monthas. And they seer going to meet their deadline. So they are in good shape. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
when is the expected release date on att in the usa?
It says right in the article that the release date is in August.

I've always been an early adopter, however in this case I'm guessing that it will only launch a few weeks earlier on Rogers compared to AT&T, therefore I can easily find the patience to wait.

ya I am chomping at the bit for this phone, but I dont think a Rogers phone will make it into my hands. Id rather wait for At&t's.... Plus it would look kinda weird handing a customer a Rogers phone and demoing it at my store lol.

I can only decide when I hold one. The spec are excellent just want to see one in the flesh before I decide. If I like what I feel ill be straight on to ebay to get one.
I will definately get the BOLD from my carrier rogers, as soon as it's out.
believe it or not I can't live with a phone without wifi, plus the extra's with the bold
how could i say no.
I agree, this is key for me as well. Ergonomics are more important to me than ever as my BB use is at an all time high and promises to remain there for the foreseeable future.
