    Vaseline and a crowbar.

Seriously, is the card loaded under the battery as it is on the older devices? I know on my curve, you actually have to slide the little door up before you can open it to remove the card.

No it on the side. You have to open the door and then push the media card. The demo video of course makes it look simple. I can feel the card go in some but it will not pop out.

You might have to push it in and then try pulling it out. Carefully use tweezers or hemostats and if it does not want to come out, push it all the way in again. Likely the circuit board is not quite lined up with the case opening for the card. Just try to not grip the card too hard and only on the very edge to avoid any damage.

Its happened to my bold too. I bought sandisk microsd 8G and I bought the 4G for my brother. Both have the same problem, than I use tweezer to remove it, than I try to put back the original bold micro sd, push and pop out, work perfectly. I have a good look at them I found that original microsd (same sandisk) is slightly thinner than the others, I think that is the problem for me and my bro. Hopefully yours is not mechanically broken like mine.

I still got several pair, both still kinda "blackened" on the end. <vbg> Those days seem like so long ago and yet other times like yesterday.

Do you remember Uriah Heap, Ten Year After, Led Zepplin, Hendrix, ELP and on and on. I went to every concert Atlanta offered. Those were interesting times. There were hardly computers back then and Blackbery was yet to even be conceived.

Bold Memory card does not show up

Just inserted new memory card in new Bold. Device does not see it. It is in correctly and seems to be seated.

Any settings I may have missed or just a crappy card??

    Help.

You've tried reseating it, to be sure, I assume?

Could very well be a bad card. First one I bought didn't work, but I think it fried it by putting it in my pocket with my magnetic money clip!

Thanks for the input. I took the phone to one AT&T location (not were purchased) and they could not get it out either. I took it back where I bought it and after working on it for 10 minutes they got it out but replaced the phone. Said the spring mechanism was not working properly.

    Thanks for the humor also.
