Problem w Movies and the BOLD

Okay guys.. I've searched on multiple forums and am just a little frustrated.

I downloaded a movie off of iTunes... it was in m4v format. I used the PSP converter to convert the movie into MP4... and it still will not load onto the bold through DM.

I'm always getting an error saying that the file cannot be transferred.

Are movies bought off itunes just non transferrable?

i thought movies bought on Itunes had a protected Code on them?

Have you tried not using DM to load movies? i hate DM to load files personally
i put my Berry on Mass Storage and just copy and post where i want my video to go
there shouldnt be any problem doing it that way, cus all your doing is dropping th evideo in the flashcard

yes, i tried that and it accepts it, but when I try to play the movie on the bold, it gives an error saying that the media file is of an unsupported format.

I think movies bought on itunes have a protected code but i read somewhere on the forum that u can tranfer from itunes to the blackberry or something like that

Welcome to the world of DRM. You'll not be able to transfer them to your device and have them work if they are DRM infested, spend enough time googling the info you can find ways around it, but none which would be fit to post here.

ugh. well count me in as one of those disgruntled customers that purchased a movie off itunes and didnt realize that they dont allow you to convert the format because they want you to ONLY play it with their apple products.

    time to go googling
