Printing Text Messages from Blackberry 9700

I am very new to managing company mobility, and also very new to Blackberry, so please "dumb down" any responses you may have.

One of my users needs to print text messages, complete with time and date stamp, for legal purposes.

Is there a way this can be done?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are third party apps that will allow you to do this. One is www.dexrex.com

    Hope this helps!

If there are not too many of those messages, you can always work around the problem - select the message you want to print, press the "berry" key and select "Forward as -> E-mail". Then you can send an e-mail containing the actual SMS with timestamp to anyone. HTH

edit: Of course, than you can print that from any computer that receive that e-mail (if that needed saying)

Use a blackberry app to save/print

There are BB apps that forward your texts to your email. You can then print the important ones from your email. TextBasket (http://highglacier.com) sends groups of texts in one email - most of them send each text as it comes and waste a lot of bandwidth.

The Amber application recommended was great! The app was easy to use and my user was really happy with the results.
