So in email settings you don't have the option to "enable HTML" ? Trying to find out what's going on. I didn't get to .245 as I skiped from .244 to .247.

Huh, that's weird. As the bold comes with that ability. I'm going to do some searching to see if I can't find out what's going on. is this on your BB email or another email? Both should have the option.

red, have you deleted and resent the email service books? I know you are pretty keen on your devices but sometimes we forget the simple things.

Here's a little more detail... My bold is an "etisalat" release that came through to our carrier Ufone here in pakistan...

etisalat devices had one major issue... If you used an OS that wasn't etisalat release, the gps would disappear... (I debranded mine to fix that)

I have 7 gmail accounts, 2 hotmail accounts and 1 bb account coming through on BIS...

I have deleted all service books and resent them, I've removed all my email accounts and then put them back on, bot from the site and from the bb itself...

Talk abt aggravation... Its miserable adding 9 accounts twice and setting signatures everytime...

Yea, the things that I'm reading is that, first try resending your service books, if that doesn't work you may have to reset your email accounts. Try resending first and see if it pops up.

    yes they are rogro,

    for ufone its "umail.internet"

and ive used the apn for different 3rd party apps before so its definitely tried and tested...

the most detesting part about this is that ive NEVER seen that option there from day one (out of the box)... it was just never there...

i only figured out that i didnt have it because i was reading through some threads about html emails...
    i see RED...

Are you POSITIVE the carrier supports HTML? They have an appropriate BIS version and are putting out service books with html enabled in them?

My understanding of it is that it has nothing to do with carriers. HTML is OS based and not carrier based.

It is os dependent (must be running 4.5 or later). However your carrier must also be running BIS 2.5 or if you are on BES you need 4.1.6.
