Now's the time to buy, and here's a great prog for your Bold-E*Trade Mobile Pro. The current offers for sign up involve a free Blackberry and $1200 worth of free trades, though I haven't checked out the details...

Pick an official upgrade from a major carrier, and load it on your handheld. The link had instructions. Upgrades debug and add features to prior versions. I'll post a link to discussion on os upgrade preferences and details next.

I'll chime in as well with the sarcastically cautious warning that there's a really good chance you'll be hooked in no time. This is coming from someone who has always been glued to his computer gaming and overclocking...now I spend MUCH more time on my Bold then I do the computer, something that has really surprised me!

    Smile welcome

Heres a great one for you wls.live.com. type this into you browser this is windows live search for BB. Great for directions traffic direction and more. You can look up a resturant, map it and add it to you contacts all from the same app. Good luck. Long time BB user but new to the stack myself. Spend more time with my BB than the wife.....wait that's bad right?

If you are new, start with the basics. Update the OS to something more current. Then just learn how to use the existing applications on the Bold before you get new ones.

You will be hooked in no time. The OS is really intutive.
