    New Pushed Apps?

Anyone know why AT&T suddenly pushed a bunch of all of shortcuts/app to the Bold?

I have one in my Downloads folder, and about 3 or 4 in the Applications folder. I'm sure this isn't on just mine, but I saw no announcement or notice of it before it happened.

    Just curious...
    I have a BlackBerry and a WhiteApple. :)

What shortcuts are you talking about? I have a Bold and was just switching themes. I didn't see any new shortcuts as i was rearranging my applications window.

Haven't seen any new shortcuts but i've noticed when ATT does this and you resend your service books any new ones do pop up lol and it is very irritating

There have been a few threads lately about others noticing the same thing, just more stuff to have to hide

It is simple a form of advertising to generate revenue for AT&T. Most of these are harmless and noting but a shortcut to downlaod something they want to sell. Just hide it. Not much you can do as AT&T can push what they want to your phone.

Instead of hiding you can also delete the service books for these apps. They will come back if you need to do a battery pull on your phone, but the alt, shift delete will not bring them back
