Amen to that. No more sore thumbs thanks to that god forsaken trackball. My dos centavos.

I got the 85xx curve and had that for two days before I had to take it back and get the 9700. This is by far the most intuitive os as well as being the most beautifully designed smart phone ever. It is a sleek diamond in a rough of big clunky phones congrats.

Indeed a nice device, but I can't help looking back at my 9000 when they are charging side by side!
For some reason I feel that the 9000 is more professional looking per se "similar size" of my work issued 8830
The 9700 is more like a fashion statement for after work hours.

the size has been a real issue with a lot of folks, I went from the 9000 to the 8900, back to the 9000 and then the 9700, and am quite comfortable with the size of the 9700-not an issue at all.

About a week ago I finally put my 8100 Pearl to pasture, and am liking the 9700 alot. The speed and graphics are great. The trackpad is easy to get used to after the trackwheel, it's the same theory. And a much better camera! The only problem is my games don't work on this since the screen sizes were much different. I guess I'll have to hunt for some cool new games for the 9700.
