    new bold browser not working on EDGE

    I just activated a new bold on att. i am running .167. BB browser works fine on wifi but has only worked for one page (pinstack home page). It keeps telling me that there might be a network problem. Iphone is running fine on same network. Any idea's?

    Att tech rep and manager think that it is a software issue. I am going to update to .247 and give it a try. Hope it works. It sucks to get a new bold and let it sit. If it don't work I guess I will have to return it for another one.

    loaded .247, and no luck. it is still taking 3-5 minutes to open one page on pinstack and other sites. I will be taking it in on thurs. I hope I get one that works.

    does anybody know if it might be a bad sim card? i took out my sim and put it into my wife's old pearl and it acted the same way. it would not let me use the browser. p.s. the EDGE signal on my bold is about 2 bars less than on my wife's iphone 3g.

    I fixed it. I remembered when I had a curve I was required to resend host routing tables. Well, I sent them and bold is now fast as a cheetah.
