    Media Card Problem

I defragmented my 4GB Sandisk, and now an error popped up-"a media card has been inserted that contains errors, re-format or connect to computer to defragment and/or fix errors". I just did that. Please dont tell me Im going to have to reformat my card and lose my 200 mp3s and DL them again. Good thing they are saved in one file. Any ideas?

transfer them to the computer, then have the computer do a full format and then put back on card, it should solve ur problem

Ive heard both sides-pro and con. I regularly defragged my 2GB in my Curve and never had a problem.

How do you do it in your phone? or do you mean by hooking your phone up as mass media storage, as opposed to taking the card out? either way you have to use a pc to defrag it right?
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

I've never seen a defrag utility on a BlackBerry. I've always just used the PC via USB. ~via 9000 (wap.pinstack.com)~
