Well if you read the other thread about the red light apparently some people with ATT Bolds are having problems. Try putting the Rogers software on it and see what that does.
If it stays the same maybe its a problem in the ROM ? I highly doubt you got two faulty devices led wise

Did you LED work correctly at first and then stop or did it never flash.

When you pick up your 3rd device, open the box in front of the salesperson and put you SIM in the phone and battery and confirm it works right in the store. It is possible you got two bad devices but if you did, others would also be having the same problems and they (the store) should know about it.

Good Luck, I hate when stuff like this happens! The Bold is really a great device!

Thats the same setting I use that SteveM suggested for the Led Indicator. I have had various Blackberies and thats where I always went to to turn on the indicator light.

Update guys** I just got back from AT&T and they replaced the phone again. I spent over an hour there and even the manager acknowledged that there was a problem. They tried all kinds of stuff, but I'm not crazy and had everything switched on. Even when I was linked to BT, the LED didi not flash blue. This is the third device in three days. This one is working now and i hope it stays that way. thanks for all your input guys

Clifford, that was the only time mine would light up too. Like Joe said, mine was a defective device. You need to take yours back and exchange it

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ a friend of mine that used to work for ATT, has always advised me to wait a few weeks, if not a month to get the newest phone. The wait enables the phone manufactures to work out any last minute kinks.

She said that you would be surprised at the amount of defective devices that would come back within the first two weeks.

Now, I am not saying this is the cause and effect for every new release, but it's definitely good to keep in mind.

Guess what guys. The light has failed again on my third device. I'm taking it back today and getting my money back. This makes me livid and I'm gonna get a newer Pearl instead. Thats what I had before and I loved it

I am still not buying 100% that it is a hardware defect. If it worked at the store and then quit, it could be software related.

We shall see, my LED has worked form day one and so have alot of other here.

Lets see how this plays out before we dump on RIM.

My LED worked until I removed the Micro SD card... perhaps incorrectly. A battery pull fixed it though. A soft reset only temporarily fixed it. Haven't had a problem for 24 hours now.
