Is there a shortcut to lock the keyboard on a Bold? I'm sure there is but I haven't been able to find it.

K what? When I push "k" it goes to my dial screen or if I hold "k" it asks if I want to assign a speed dial key to "k".

If you have ATT, it should be "A" / "*" they're the same key. Just hold it like you were speed dialing and it should lock.

If that doesn't work, open up the speed dial list and look for the one that says "Lock System."

If you want to use K, you have to go to the phone screen, options, general options, and turn off dial from home screen. Then you can use a lot of shortcuts on the keyboard.

Open the language options menu and disable fast? Language switching (sorry cant remember exactly). Then while on the idle screen Alt + Enter will lock it up for you.

    or

Press and hold the mute button on top and your into standby mode.

(Vodafone AU device with v4.6.0.162 Firmware) ((This one also works on Curve 4.5.xx firmware))
