    Just got Bold...not getting emails

    I just got my Bold today, and everything seems great...except that I"m not getting emails. I sent the service books more than once, and they never show up. I am getting text messages and can browse the internet fine. Anyone have any ideas?

    I figured it out. Apparently AT&T didn't enter my PIN and IMEI correctly. I went to BIS and did a change device and now it works fine, or seems to be. I resent the service books after changing it and they got there, along with a test message I sent myself earlier.

    I'm not drjamie but after reading every review you sorta of thing there might be a let down but it has definitely has exceeded my expectations which is rare for a smart phone. Best I have ever owned. FINALLY THE DAY HAS COME.

    I LOVE it! I've been so fixated on getting it and was so excited about the day finally coming that my partner didn't even complain about the cost once I finally got it. It is everything people have been saying it is. My only complaint is the size of the text on webpages. It is tiny! I did change to column view and it helped, but not a whole lot.

    This is soo frustrating. My Pin to Pin and email doesn't work... Did everything possible to make it work.... Bad way to start my bold experience.

    Well Rosko, something is wrong.

    Give us some details

    Whre did you get your Bold?
    Do you have a Blackberry plan?
    Are you getting regular emails?
    Have you gone to your BIS site and set your device up?
    Have you sent/received Service Books?
    Can you PIN yourself? It should arrive instantly

    I do not want to seem harsh but sometimes it takes a little patience and homework.

    My email started working fine once I went to BIS and changed the device settings. If you haven't tried that, it may help.

    I got my bold thru ebay.
    yes, i have a blackberry plan
    no i dont get regular email
    yes, i have gone to the ATT BIS site to set up my device. I had people on ATT side and RIM, try to activate my pin.
    no, i can't receive service books and can't pin myself.

    trust me, at this moment, I have done everything possible. Just have to wait to see what the outcome is from RIM and ATT. *sigh*
