the BB's come capable of both BIS and BES and when out of the box and can be used for either, depending on your choice using the DM. (personal email or corporate email) Thats what I remember from starting from scratch instead of using the device switcher.

So bg you think I should just wipe it and reinstall my os and existing info? Is that don't withthe desktop mgr? As long as it doesn't require internet access I can do that when I get of of work.

Yes but, the way I understand it is if you went the BES route and an IT policy was placed on the phone, unless you were an IT administrator you wont be able to remove the policy. I have never had an IT policy or even tried to go the BES route so this is just my guess.

Yes, when you set up DM on your computer it will ask you if you are on BIS or BES.

Hmmmm. Forgot about the it policy. Guess ill try just a wipe and reinstall first then ill try the "removal" of it policy that cherri posted last night. If all fails, I will return my device to the guy I bought it from. Ill try anyway

Honestly, we don't even know if your phone had an IT policy on it. I would assume that if it was a refurb, it would have been wiped clean before being resold. If it was a return however, not sure if they do wipes before checking them and reselling them. It is worth a shot though.
