    about 50% of the time, the browser doesn't work although top left icon says 3G with 4 strong bars.

    i'll eventually get a message saying "unable to connect to internet. please try again later."

    are others having similar problems. i took the phone back to tmobile store a couple of weeks ago and they insisted nothing is wrong with it... changed a few settings and sent me on my way.

    i called tmobile that same day and a guy did some stuff remotely, had me take out the battery & do a hard reset. well, a minute after the phone completely rebooted, it turned itself off then on.

    it's done that 5-6 times since then... randomly turning off & on. kinda sux if you're in the middle of a call or trying to pull something up on the net.

    i called yesterday and the guy says it sounds like a battery issue (turning itself off & on). i think they're a bunch of idiots because i know as soon as i go downstairs to the store.. they're going to say something totally different.

    Return it. Tmo cust srvc sux!! They don't know $#!+ (most). You shouldn't have to deal with that.

    yep, get another one. may have some hardware issues. Dont try and troubleshoot until your out of warrenty.

    Sounds more of an issue with your data for the browser.

    Now the other problem is not for battery might be an OS issue but as you said they know nothing about, just get another one

    Do not settle for anything but a new phone. T-Mobile has never said no to me about quality problems when I buy a phone. They have always been nothing but 1st class all the time.

    call 611. speak to a blackberry specialist. if (s)he can't fix the issue, mention the word "cancel" somewhere in your shpiel. you'll get transferred to customer retention. plead your case to them, since they have more authority and delegated power.

    try resending your service books, that might fix the internet issue. the random restart a few people have delt with on the 9000 and it's usually a device issue.

    I agree completely. When I had my baby bold / curve 9700 it did the very same thing.

    Resending the service books, a time tested BB fix did the trick.

    back the first week of December, they gave me a new SIM card; the other one was 5yrs old. the browser is a little better... working about 75% of the time; timing out 25% of the time

    and the darn thing continues to randomly reboot itself.

    i'm not going to bother going to the store. i'm going to call and b!TC# & moan til they replace it. i'm sure it will be refurbished, but it's gotta be better than this piece of junk.

    oh, they already had me resend the service books way back in late November when i called customer service the first time.
