    I think alot of it has to do with how much memory the apps tend to take up. Most being in the 400-800 kb range, remember when we first started seeing big hard drives in PCs, this was not due to the fact that it was technology that was just now avalible but due to software requireing more space because of bigger programs. With the next gen devices i think RIM will get on board and give us more memory. Apps are just going to constantlly get bigger.

    Also check on maxmem app. It allows yot to delete some unused things such as VAD, PTT, extra languages and themes. Just don't delete bb dimension themes.

    bhp77, i get the size requirement, but how come you cant allocate your onboard memory to app memory?
