Go to www.cnn.cn. They have disassembly videos for a lot of devices.

you can do it yourself. unless you're just not comfortable tearing apart a $600 device.

I guess I was a little late on the draw but yeah, cnn.cn has great assembly and disassembly videos for the Bold. I'm looking at replacing my trackball and swap the chrome trim for an all black scheme and I'm perfectly comfortable with the process.

For sure it's not a hard process to do anything with the 9000. The videos on cnn.cn make it easy. Only advice I can offer is make sure you have a clean and neat surface to do it on. Also, don't tighten the screws down to tight. They require very little torque. Always tighten in a cross pattern. Go over the process good before you start and be prepared. Not hard, you will be fine.

Really simple to do. I just replaced my trackball with the help of the video. You can also find some great videos on YouTube.
