The easiest solution to me, would be to put the phone's profile on 'Quiet'. It wouldn't ring, but if you wanted to make a call, it would still be on. There are 3rd party apps out there too. BuzzOff is one for blocking unwanted calls.

Like MS said there is no better way than to use the silent profile.

TIP: push and hold down the Q key and your profiles will toggle between the last two used. One key will get you to "quiet"

you can can also set the phone to do no disturb. if i'm not mistaken it will just send any call straight to voice mail...
just another option, but yeah the quiet profile would work jsut as well

I use it all the time. It is great for blocking series of numbers.

ie. you can block all 1800* numbers, 1866*, etc.

yea, just purchased Buzzoff...some it blocks some it doesnt, pretty upset with this app. I was reading a while ago where you put the phone number in you address book that you want to Block then"add custom ring tone" and set ring tone for this person to MUTE . the person will go to voice mail if they choose..i like it

when you go to preferences in buzzoff, ..there is a match Last, how many didgets to you have set for? I can get Buzz off to work for normal numbers, but one 1888 number keeps getting through it?

IMO, iCallManager Light 1.2.8 works better than other apps
that I've tried. It will block 800, 888, 877, private, blocked
calls etc... $18 for privacy isn't bad either.

Another option is to set up a Google Voice account. They have tons of options to control who, when and how the call is handled. Of course, they would have to be calling your GV number. I no longer have anyone but family call my direct mobile number.
