    How fast is BOLD 3g?

I know the advertised rates but what is some real world benchmarks? Like if I upgrade from my 8310, will it be a 30%. 40% increase? I know it will very by location and signal, and others but I'm looking for a general idea. For those that have had hands on experience, it is night and day difference?

Watch the video on this page, he loads up youtube during it and it's seriously night and day compared to my 8310 on EDGE.

My wife's 8130 on Sprints version of 3G loads the same web page in half the time as my ATT 8310.

a little bit? Have you used any hsdpa devices before??

The Bold is ''advertised'' to handle 3.6Mbit/s downloads... if we were to say in real world you could have at least half that....... its still a lot more than a ''little bit faster'' than edge's standard maximum download capacity of approx 200-300 Kbit/s

As for your razor, well it was the phone itself and the fact that hsdpa is fairly new there and will get better. HSDPA at its best is proven faster than EVDO.

It is a huge difference but I'm still using my 8800 over my curves or bolds

Ok not that I wouldn't love to sell my bolds but can't...We need them all for Application Development. As for the topic I'll try and get us back.

The Bold is signifcantly faster on the HSDPA network than a different BlackBerry either on EDGE or EVDO
