    Shira,

Do you have a BlackBerry Internet Service account? If so, you can add signatures to all your e-mail address within the BIS.

There is a thread in the Technical Support link in my signature that has links to most of the carriers and their BIS portals.

Post back if you have further questions.

You can also setup an AutoText with the signature. I have 2 one for personal use and one for professional use.

Not sure if I have BIS, I suppose I don't if I don't know what it is.
Also the Tech Support in your link?. There are other options in your signature link but I don't see Tech Support. I know I am missing something. thanks.

Here are the BIS login sites and here is a tutorial on how to go about adding e-mail accounts through the site.

I'm assuming then that you set up your e-mail accounts from your device?

Options>Auto Text>BB menu button>New. Then you can create a key sequence that will populate a signature based on the key sequence you have defined.

For instance, in the Replace field, you can enter mysig and in the With field, fill in the information you want to show as your signature.

    Make sense?

RoGro-i.e-first message yes I surely have email accounts and know how to do all that. sorry for the misunderstanding. I have had a BB for over 3 years now. no problem is that area, I suppose i am terminology challenged. i.e second message-makes total sense. will do. thanks. out of curiosity, is that the only way to add a signature?

    No worries, Shira!

One way to add the signature is through BIS, the other is through the autotext method. Those are the only two ways I'm aware of.

This is how I set mine up:
click the email where you want the signature to appear (work or personal),
    click menu (the BB button),
    then "Options",
    then "Email Settings",
    then "Use Auto Signature"
A box will appear where you can enter your signature. Make sure "Use auto signature" is set to "yes".

Now whenever you finish typing an email, you don't have to type in your name and whatever else you want included with your signature because it will automatically be added at the end of all of your messages.

RoGro, you're right. Sorry - I have BES and I didn't realize that even though I highlighted my Yahoo email address, when the screen came on, it showed BES settings, which does allow the auto signature feature. I didn't realize the default for me was Desktop options.

Setting a signature with autotext would be the best way for shira.

Bes usually has the signature option. Autotext can be used
Go to options»owner type in your name and your information. Then open the autotext when composing an sms/email and click on new type in sig and in replace by type in %o %O
When you type an email just type sig and give it a space the whole signature will show up
